Response to the book

This book was a very  interesting book that I enjoyed reading about. It taught me so much about family and what some veterans give up to go fight. I have found a new respect for veterans and all the people who are fighting in Iraq right now. This book made me realize what many families have to go through for years. Then for those families that never get to see their loved ones again. I am glad I read this book. It made me realize how precious life is and not to let a moment get by without being grateful for another her breath. I would definitely read this book again. every time I think my life is ruff I remember all the families that are going through worse. this book was well written and I loved how the author made everything personal. it was like you were in the story. the author made this story informational so that you learned about many of the military processes. but it is also an interesting story that you will never forget. For all you readers I recommend you to read this book. It teaches you more than you may think. thank you.

the main point of the book

"church, family, country." this passage from the book tells what the book is about because when Chris was needed by his country he went to help. When his family needed him he went to help them.

Morality in Iraq

Many war veterans end up having serious problems after they finish their tours in Iraq or wherever they served. Many of the problems they have after their tours are alcoholism and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) . Post Traumatic Stress Disorder affects many Veterans every year. If you read the book I read you could see that even Chris Kyle got involved with alcohol and had trouble staying connected with his family after his tours in Iraq. Many war veterans have trouble with PTSD. Many of them end up having serious mental problems. I think that we should help out war veterans out with these problems and make sure they don't have the rest of their lives ruined. As a country we need to either stop the war or help soldiers when they come back from their time in Iraq.

My Poem

Chris kyle fought in many battles
he was a hero for us all.
No matter where he fought he was a hero
as a veteran he will be forever remembered
all veterans should be remembered.
Veterans are my heroes
they should be yours to.
War veterans are everything to our society,
it is our duty to respect them
and what they did for our country.

Movie

If this Book was a movie it would be called American Sniper. I looked act some other movies that are the same type of movie and I think this movie would cost around 12 million to make. If this was made into a movie it would be a longer movie, I estimate around two hours or two and half hours. It would be rated PG-13, for violence and language and mention of alcohol. The actor for Chris Kyle would be Chris Hemsworth. Taya Kyle would be played as Sandra Bullock. It would be kinda like and action movie and a documentary mixed into one.

Chris Kyle

Chris Kyle died February 2 ,2013. He went to Iraq 4 times, he was known as the most deadly U.S. sniper in U.S. History. This man was a great man he loved God, his family, and his country. He was killed at a shooting range in Texas. He was helping out a man with PTSD when the man shot and killed him. Chris Kyle is a true American hero and i wish i could have met him.Chris Kyle was a good Navy Seal. Though he got many bar fights, he always got out of jail within a few days.

Places

This story was taken place in many different places. It is in the United States for his childhood, then when he goes into the seals he is in Iraq most of the time. The places in the United States are in different states, such as California, Texas, and New York. when he lived in New york 9/11 happened. The whole city was in chaos In Iraq he goes to some cities such as Fallujah and Sadr city. Fallujah was a city that was in constant fighting, whenever he was fighting there was constant battle.Sadr City was a city in constant battle. This was a barren city and many bombs were going off many times a day. There was also Gunfire that was going on.

This is a photo of Fallujah                              This is a map of Sadr City

Intro Post

In third quarter english I was forced to read a non-fiction book. I chose to read American Sniper the auto biography of the most lethal sniper in U.S. Military History.
